Thought I would post a positive! My endocrinologist has increased my dose of T4 to 150, from 125 (although I experimented with 137.5 on my own), based on my 125 results in a previous post, saying as long as TSH detectable, and FT3 in range (the higher end) and FT4 might be over. He even suggested that after this if still symptomatic about combined T4 and T3 ๐๐ป just wanted to post to give others hope that some people will help. As I have sometimes felt along this journey that some doctors donโt help and listen!

That's great. Looks like I'm having conversion probs at mo. Going to have to source a private endo. Where are you located pls?
Thats brilliant. Im also having a good experience with my endo too. He has now put me on the t4 and t3 combo as i havent been converting t4 to t3. Its such a good feeling when one of them listens. Hope it continues ๐
Where is your endo located, please
How do you feel on the combo?
Early days at mo, on the first trial run i felt better less tired and drained. This time i havent felt so great so far but 2 months in
It seems hard to get the T3 dose right! Iโm hoping 150mcg T4 works for me!
Hope it works for you. I was on 150mcg and 125mcg t4 alternate days before that was 150mcg but 125mcg was too low and 150mcg too high. Now its 125mcg t4 and 10mcg t3. Just waiting to hear back from endo for 2 month blood test.
Did you feel over medicated on 150?
Please could you private message me the details too. Thatโs not been my experience! So pleased for you!
That is so wonderful!!!!!!! I know there are very knowledgeable and dedicated physicians out there. The trick is to find them (or more likely to stumble across them). They are extremely rare. I'm so glad you are well cared for by this doctor (also a little jealous ). Thanks for posting hope. โค
Please could you private message me too, I'm in west sussex.
