Endometriosis - laparoscopy - post op - pain - anxiety

Hi everyone. I've just been diagnosed with Endometriosis and I had a laparoscopy recently. I'm experiencing pains in my legs and arms too post op, please tell me I'm not the only one?! I've got my leg checked for DVT already and three medical professionals have told me my leg pain is just a pulled muscle. As a sufferer from health anxiety I just need reassurance, I'm really struggling to cope and can't get out of my own head.

Have you had any other weird pains after surgery? How has your recovery been? Have you had post op anxiety? Let me know.. Btw if anyone needs to talk I'm here for you.

Juliavi it fairly shakes us up when we have intrusive investigations for our health problems. Many of us have felt as you do now.This part of health unlocked is for thyroid problems so you may not get many responses.

Have you had full thyroid testing done ?

Research suggests Endometriosis is autoimmune

Has GP tested iron and ferritin levels

Also vitamin D, folate and B12

HiI am in the exact same boat as you and was diagnosed stage 4 endometriosis in 2019 and the leg shoulder and back pain is sudden intense stabbing and relentless - unfortunately endometiosis is the cause of our thyroid problems and our anxiety and depression and vertigo so you are not alone and i am so miserable and struggling to hold down a job - hugs
