Currently unmediated, as I've "subclinical" hypothyroid.
Question. My thyroid function tests keep fluctuating. My TSH can be elevated anthing between 2.36 and 4.5 , ft4 and ft3 levels are almost completely out the bottom of the range one month then, although still suboptimal with both in lower half of range but they'll be a tiny bit highter up that range.
It's making it impossible to get treatment.
Any help on this would be great.
I have hashimotos symptoms but my antibodies aren't quite high enough to be unmistakably positive. They fluctuate too!

I have been on vit D, b12 and iron protocols as was very deficienct in all.Had stopped suplimenting 4 weeks before last tests as reached good levels and needed a break. I still took magnesium.
Started exclusion diet in january but have been asked to eat gluten a few times during this time for tests. I am gluten intollerant. I haven't eaten it enough to get any readings for celiac's.
I had one in February but they were looking for tumers only. I have another one booked in for a couple of weeks time, doc found my thyroid felt enlarged last month so wants me checked for thyroid disease this time. I have swallowing issues that are sometimes worse than others and my throat always feels tight. Endoscopy a couple of weeks ago didnt show any cancers, or polyps, did show that I've healed my gut loads so API diet is doing its job.
I guess you could ask the doc for a trial of Levo to see if it makes you feel better? Or do so your self. But make sure you know your tsh t4 and T3 before you start.
Hello, sorry I didn't see your reply.Yes extreme fatigue, weight gain out of nowhere, hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails when I didn't before, eye problems, swallowing issues, either hot or cold, flare ups of pain etc....
Doctor's want to wait till I fall out of their ranges but i couldn't live like this anymore as I was becoming unable to look after my son properly and struggling to run my buisness.
I have self medicated with NDT... took bloods a couple of days before i started.. I'm five days in now and already have more energy.
