She has , but not sure on vit D . Not taking any other supplements. I have told her husband to ask for copies of her blood tests . Thank you for your prompt response . 😊

I have experience of hyperparathyroidism and all it involves but not in pregnancy so I won't comment other than to say if she does have a parathyroid adenoma she will need an experienced Endo and Surgeon.

Thank you . We live in Jersey , only 1 consultant , so will be doing research if surgery needed .

Parathyroid test needs to be processed at hospital lab immediately

Need to test Vitamin D, calcium and parathyroid together

If she had parathyroid tumour she shouldn’t take vitamin D

Calcium can be high if taking high dose vitamin D.

Obviously she needs testing for autoimmune thyroid disease /Hashimoto’s as you have Hashimoto’s
