Is it too soon to check bloods again 21 days on from reducing T3 and adding more NDT?

Im not usually impatient, and would typically wait 6 weeks, but dropping 5mcg of T3 and adding 1/4 extra of NDT has had pros and cons...ie gut got worse, but strength/energy has improved albeit small by day 7 of this dose change.

I feel undermedicated, and struggling still.

Any thoughts, greatly appreciated, please.

Every best wish G

Hi Lalaloot,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. So is it definetely 6 weeks to wait, or could I get a good indication after 4 weeks?.........

Kind regards, G

6 weeks. There is a knock on effect for every change so we need to give things time to settle.

Takes a full six weeks to get each new dose fully into your system so you need to be patient! Trying to do things more quickly it’s likely to backfire on you and then needing to start again from scratch so best to be patient.
