Been on 25 mcg synthroid for 3 weeks. TSH is 3.09 and free T4 is 14 (range 9-19).
TSH has come down from 3.96 in July and T4 has gone down to 14 from 16, range posted above. I feel horrible.

Yep, sounds like what is happening to me, I felt great for the last two weeks and now feel absolutely terrible. Problem is, I'm going scuba diving on Saturday and it's 4 deep dives to 100 feet, and I really don't want to be doing that when I feel like this.
There's always something that makes me feel terrible, I'm so tired of health problems.
Thanks so much for your response. I'll read the article tonight as I need to take my kitty to the vet
Lovely, thanks greygoose and eljii. We've already paid for the dives, so I can kiss that money goodbye. I just told my husband I might not be diving. I get panicky when I don't feel good, and it's not a good idea to panic when you're 100 feet below the surface.
I just get rid of one problem and trade it for another, life sucks today.
Thanks for the info! I have filled my pill dispenser with 50mcg in the off chance it can work for me before my trip, and will phone my doctor again tomorrow. She never got back to me today, which ticks me off. I was on 50 mcg before. My TSH before going hypo in 2000 was 1.5 so I'm thinking 50 mcg should be more in line for me today. It's great that she's treating me where other doctors would not, and did say that her aim is a TSH between 1 and 2. Just wish she'd test t3, next time I get requisitions I'll make sure it's on there.
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking! Alright, now all I have to do is find studies that confirm that and show them to my doctor! I'm printing off this post.
Also, she approved the increase to 50mcg, but I'm not sure she will approve a further increase without me seeing an endocrinologist. I will not be happy if she sends me to the one I saw before regarding my diabetes, because he thinks the LEAST amount of T4 is the way to go with hashi's. I don't need an endo like that....
