Optimal levels are:

Vit D - 100-150nmol/L according to the Vit D Society and Grassroots Health, with Grassroots Health's recent blog post recommending at least 125nmol/L.

If you want to increase your level then you could supplement with 2,000-3,000iu D3 daily and retest after 3 months.

You will also need D3's important cofactors - magnesium which helps the body convert D3 into it's usable form, and Vit K2-MK7 which directs the extra uptake of calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can cause problems.

I like Doctor's Best D3 softgels, Vitabay or Vegavero Vit K2-MK7 and magnesium you'll need to decide which form is best for you:

B12 - you don't say what unit of measurement - pmol/L or pg/ml or ng/L. According to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:

"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".

"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."

pg/ml and ng/L are the same.

Folate - when there is no range we tend to say it's best in double figures so yours seems to be OK. If there is a range it's recommended to be at least half way through the range.

Ferritin is recommended to be half way through range although some experts say that the optimal level for thyroid function is 90-110ug/L.

I recently bought a pill cutter from Superdrug. I wasn't given a choice by the pharmacist, but the one I got is okay.

I find that scalpels / hobby knives / craft knives work best for many pills. They are easy to buy on Amazon and can be bought with spare blades. The blades in pill cutters (in my experience) become blunt very quickly and sometimes go rusty, but scalpel blades last for ages.

Something like this could work for you.

Don't buy anything with odd-shaped blades.

I always experiment with both the pill cutter and the scalpel to decide which works best for individual pills when I get a new brand of something I want to cut, but some just get crushed into powder no matter what you do.

If you buy that one I linked read some of the questions from people who bought it, and take note of the reviews. Apparently some people found it difficult to fit new blades and there is advice on changing them in the reviews and questions.
