Hi my nephew went through hell waiting for surgery. Told he may die . Then again the operation may kill him . He survived and is on tablets for life and out of breath walking for 5 minutes etc . He is depressed and with anxiety . Held down a full time job with troubled children before.
Has two kids and can't get pip . Governemnet disability allowance . Struggling with finances. Appealed . Anyone who knows what he can do and / or who has been through this hell( I am so sorry you have ) your advice is priceless.
No one should be put through this extra illness exacerbating stress .
Thank you in advance for ny information of how to contact even
I wish you all better health and hope to never give up

I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew. I cannot help I'm afraid, but it might be worth contacting Citizen's Advice if you haven't already citizensadvice.org.uk Best of luck.
Very good advice, this site is wonderful. It’s very cruel, but I think they hardly ever ‘grant’ the benefit (to which you are entitled!) without an appeal
Benefit and work definitely, their guides take you through everything with examples. Take a deep breath, read and follow guidence. Good luck. Oh you need to join but worth every penny.
I have been through this and I got PIP following the benefits and work guides. Worth the year’s membership to help you complete the forms effectively and that in turn helped me during my assessment
I was born with my condition. So I will always need life long care. I also now have an ICD to help with my arrhythmias but I do still get out of breath etc however it has improved over time
I am so sorry to hear what you have been through . I am glad that is has improved a little for you . Thank you for thinking of my nephew . I wish you all the very best .
