Can I get opinions on thyroid results please?

Hi all,

I just wondered what people think about my thyroid results and whether I should actually be on thyroxine? Although I did have a trial of it a few years back and it made me feel very anxious! I have been told by the private endocrinologist that I have got autoimmune thyroiditis based on antibodies and a nuclear thyroid scan, but she doesn't think it needs treating until the TSH is above 7. My prolactin has also been consistently raised for about 10 years now which I think is affecting my oestrogen and progesterone and causing menopausal symptoms, but I am 41 and my other sex hormones are completely normal. I also had a pituitary scan 7 years ago which was normal, so I'm thinking my prolactin must be related to the thyroid antibodies, but my thyroid results are often normal at 1 point something! The raised prolactin doesn't make sense. Here are my last 4 lots of results (I have only listed the range in the first lot but it is the same for all of them:

Nov 2020

TSH: 4.27 (0.27- 4.20) T4: 14.61 (12- 22) T3: 4.4 (3.1- 6.8

Dec 2020

TSH: 3.96 T4: 16.49 T3: 5.4 Prolactin: 685 (102- 496)

Jan 2021

TSH: 3.27 T4: 17.7 T3: 5.6 Prolactin: 661

April 2021

TSH: 1.61 T4: 15.9 T3: 4.3

Thanks for any advice.

P.S. All vitamins have been tested and are all optimal. I have also been supplementing for years now.

You also need vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 testedLow vitamin levels strongly linked to being hypothyroid. Frequently necessary to supplement continuously to maintain optimal vitamin levels

Cholesterol test too. High cholesterol linked to being hypothyroid
