Does anyone else have a low body temperature despite “ adequate thyroid replacement”?
I would be very grateful for advice…. My basal temperature is 35.5 and never above 36 despite levothyroxine 125 and liothyronine 20 per day. Should I take any notice?
I feel very much better with the addition of lio, but honestly don’t know what normal is! My suspicion is that I am still moderately hypo but would appreciate your comments. Thanks!!

Aiming for Vitamin D at least around 80nmol and around 100nmol maybe better
Folate is low but B12 is good
supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid) may be beneficial to improve low folate .This can help keep all B vitamins in balance
Igennus Super B is good quality and cheap vitamin B complex. Contains folate. Full dose is two tablets per day. Many/most people may only need one tablet per day. Certainly only start on one per day (or even half tablet per day for first couple of weeks)
Or Thorne Basic B is another option that contain folate
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
I would say your thyroid hormone levels are ok as FT4 often goes low when T3 is added. Others might suggest you raise Levo a little but I would wait longer as long as your ferritin levels are adequate (you have not added an iron test result) and are not suffering other hypo symptoms.
Although you have been medicating for years it is quite likely that you have only been 'optimal' since adding the T3. Therefore, you have a lot of rebuilding to do. I added T3 about 5 or 6 years ago and this winter was the first ever I slept without an electric blanket on my bed. I marvel at being so deliciously warm now as previously had spent my whole life cold.
In your shoes I'd increase my levothyroxine to 150mcg. I'm on 150mcg levothyroxine and 20mcg liothyronine. When I was on 125mcg levothyroxine and 25mcg liothyronine my feet were always cold. 150mcg levothyroxine keeps my feet warm.
