I paid for thriva tests, full thyroid panel antibodies etc cholesterol, Liver panel, Iron, Vit b12 and folate. They only sent one tube to fill up to 600 mark which I did. Then they only sent me some if the results, folate, one of the antibodies, T4 and T3 missing they say due to not enough blood. They're offering me £19 towards a repeat test but that doesn't cover the extra £26 for testing, and £17 for the folate. To me it seems the issue is that they didn't provide enough collection tubes for all the tests, I had two last time.
Have you had this problem before? Any advice?
These tests are expensive for me. It's also a problem in that I stopped my b complex supplements a week ahead of the test and will have to do so again.

I've never used Thriva, never been drawn to them, I don't like their website as it's not as straightforward as Medichecks and Blue Horizon, and can't get my head around whether you have to subscribe or not. They also have a very confusing way of displaying the results with their graphic which has led to a lot of misunderstanding when members post their results. Their "optimal" ranges are also pretty much a nonsense for some of the tests.
During this difficult time of the pandemic and disruptions to delivery services, there were problems originally but Royal Mail and all the couriers now seem to be more or less back to normal. I have sent for kits from Medichecks and Montor My Health recently and they have arrived by Royal Mail within a couple of days or ordering them.

It will be quite some time without your supplements by the time you get around to doing your test. In this case the results will just show your levels without recent supplementing, if you want to know what levels are produced with your regular supplement routine then they shouldn't be left off for that long, just the 7 days for iron and a few days for B Complex or Biotin as this can affect results when Biotin is used in the testing procedure (Thriva use County Pathology to process their tests, which is the same lab that Medichecks use, and Medichecks have confirmed that Biotin is used in the testing procedure).
I'm not so much trying to get a good result with iron and bcomplex as trying to feel better through optimising vitamins and nutrition and lifestyle to help my body fix itself. So I'm annoyed at the delay because it negates the effort I'm putting in, and their response feels an unreliable service. I'm assuming taking the Bcomplex/biotin could have been helping alleviate my symptoms.I got problems with my blood clotting too quickly initially, even though I'd warmed up my circulation in a hot bath prior to the blood test. Is the quick blood clotting (while performing the home blood collection) another potential Hypothyroid symptom? Relating to low blood pressure? Low blood O2 levels etc?
I don't know about the blood clotting. Sometimes mine flows better than others and I do exactly the same each time. I doubt it's low blood 02 levels, mine is never more than 94% (I have lung disease) and there are times when I could have easily filled 2 vials.
Do you take Vit K2-MK7? If so maybe leave this off. There is some confusion as to whether this aids blood clotting. It's Vit K1 that is the blood clotting form (the one used for injections when babies are born, but some articles say that K2 also aids blood clotting, so maybe err on the side of caution and leave it off if you do take it.
