Hi, as I’ve stated before, I have Ords disease but not Hashimotos but I am continually getting kidney infections and feel quite ill at the moment, have been on at least 10 courses of antibiotics in the last year and am now taking one a day for three months but have now had to go back on 500 ml a day. I put it down to my full pelvic prolapse (waiting on operation) but wonder is my thyroid issues a cause? Would like an opinion please as I don’t see an end in site, many thanks.

Hi, I had very similar problems in my 20’s/30’s and had a years of pelvic infection and bladder Infections and sooo many antibiotics.

My ventro suspension(womb lift as had prolapsed) definitely helped a bit. Important to get microbiome as healthy as possible. Changing my diet I think helped, dairy was a big problem.

Also megaspore probiotics and pre biotics really helped.

I have also found after sex if I wash quickly and sometimes I use thrush cream straight after and this it can stop onset of thrush/cystitis which I can still get often after sex 😬

Good luck, it’s a bloody nightmare isn’t it?!

I'm so sorry you are experiencing these on going problems. The problem is very concerning. I experienced very similar problems a few years ago . Raising my thyroid meds made a huge difference.

You might want to have your thyroid labs with FT-4 FT-3 TSH done and see if you need some tweaking.

Best Wishes.
