Hi, I'm not sure I'm posing this question to the correct group?? I have Hypothyroidism, mild Sjogrens & have also just had gastroscopy confirming gastritis. Im not sure if the gastritis us autoimmune related or not. Hpylori negative apparently. Was low in Vit D as get skin rashes after sun exposure so use sun screen constantly. B12 was ok but not optimal (all results as per photo). Feel like I'm going downhill & don't know which consultant should be managing me as have GI, Dermatology & Rheumatology involved - GP only for thyroid, but feel like the main culprit e.g. autoimmune disease is not being managed collectively & properly. GI consultant didn't do any acid tests to decipher if low or high (suspect low) but gave me omeprazole anyway which I believe will cause me more probs if acid is actually low. Have no idea where to go with this - GP just doing what GI consultant advised. Any suggestions/advice welcome??

Gastritis autoimmune??
This vitamin D result was from 3 months ago
You have been taking high dose vitamin D since
Are you also supplementing magnesium
healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
Plus been supplementing B12 and vitamin B complex?
Remember to stop taking vitamin B complex a week before ALL BLOOD TESTS as biotin can falsely affect test results
Obviously Need to retest levels see how things have improved
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
Do you always get same brand
Presumably you have Hashimoto’s
Had coeliac blood test?
Are you on absolutely strictly gluten free diet?
all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins
List of private testing options

Thriva Thyroid plus antibodies and vitamins By DIY fingerpick test
Thriva also offer just vitamin testing
Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold includes antibodies, cortisol and vitamins by DIY fingerprick test

If you can get GP to test vitamins and antibodies then cheapest option for just TSH, FT4 and FT3
£29 (via NHS private service ) and 10% off down to £26.10 if go on thyroid uk for code

Also vitamin D available as separate test via MMH
Or alternative Vitamin D NHS postal kit
Yes I have Hashimoto's & I had a celiac blood test years ago due to IBS which was negative, this was well before I discovered I had hypothyroidism - I am now gluten free for approx 2yrs. As previously advised here I have been taking B complex, B12 1000iu sublingual & Vit D dose of 6000iu per day with vit k2-mk7 however not been consistent with magnesium due to stomach issues ☹️. As far as I know I'm doing everything I should be? Unfortunately since last posting here I have developed Gastritis which I'm not sure is autoimmune related or due vitamin deficiencies e.g. vit D. I have also been diagnosed mild Sjogrens disease with skin rashes etc. I haven't had recent tests after starting supplements but have been advised by pernicious anemia support site that B12 should not be re-tested after supplementing as will be a false reading & to go by symptoms only, yet I don't know what causes which symptoms!! Yes, I absolutely need to re-test vit D & thyroid plus probably ferritin & folate but my main worry now is my gut! GI consultant gave me omeprazole which is for high acid but I've done bicarbonate test at home with zilch results, therefore believe I'm low acid (which seems to be common with hypo) not high - so I have not taken the omeprazole. Just looking at diet to improve gut naturally & been considering AIP diet but don't want to exasperate existing stomach inflammation by increasing acid, but I clearly seem to need it increasing.... catch 22 🤪 I'm on 125mg of levo & stay on same manufacturer now (accord & wockhardt) but tbh my stomach issues kind of appeared when I changed to these brands which was approx 5m ago. I changed brands then as was suffering with anxiety but I now realise this may have been the low vit D & not the brand of levo I was taking. Sorry for the long reply but so much to consider 🤔.
