Hi I’ve had a blood test on 5 metavive II . I was feeling hypo still so I increased dose but now I have some strange results with high FT3 levels though I still have low basal temp, tiredness and anxiety which I get with hypo therefore I assumed I was hypo.
Ft3 9.9 range 3.1-6.8
Ft4 22.6 range 12-22
Tsh 0.01
My results on thyrogold 8 weeks before we’re good and I know that it’s unknown what hormones are in metavive but I’m clearly overmedicated now so not sure how much to take or what to do next .
Any ideas?

It's not just hormones in the new version of Metavive. It's also the ribonucleotides which upset some of us. Personally I have now signed up with a doctor who is on the ThyroidUK list who has let me have a prescription. I've used that to get Erfa from a pharmacy on the ThyroidUK list of pharmacies. At the start of January several pharmacies had both Armour and Erfa brands of NDT. I will be interested to see what my bloods are like when next tested.
Was this test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last 1/3 of Metavive daily dose approx 12 hours before test
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested
Hi Blackpanther46. Could you say what happened with your Metavive II experiment. Did you reduce or try something else? It seems to confirm there's plenty or hormones if you take enough of it. I'm trying 2 capsules but don't feel much different.
Hi @FinneUK I started thyroid s as I wanted to know exactly what amount of T3 and T4 I was taking which I didn’t in the metavive as undeclared with not much info about dosage so it was too much trial and error for me but yes it does confirm it has hormones in it just not clear how much to take of it
