Covid 19 test done and dusted.

Hi all, just to say thanks for all your support and encouragement in the lead up to my covid test.

I went this morning, absolutely bricking it and it was over in seconds. They swabbed my throat first and then a deep nasal swab which made my eyes water but was not painful and my throat felt a bit weird for a couple of hours but other than that no problems.

I hate to admit it but you were all right and honestly having to adhere to strict social distancing rules for the next 3 days is going to be much harder than the test.

I think that the WHO issued some guidance about the number of cycles to be used on PCR tests; 30 maximum, I recall. There have been many false positives due to excessive cycles of the test. The latest guidance says that a PCR test should not be used in isolation to detect SARS-COV-2. I hope that it works out well.

I've already done this procedure and it doesn't hurt so much. Since the beginning of the pandemic, several types of tests have appeared to diagnose the new coronavirus. How exactly they work, at what point you need to donate blood, and at what time - a smear and why their results should not always be perceived as the truth. I have learned from my own experience how people "get sick" with covid. 10 days ago, I was coughed up by a sick man on the bus. And what do you think? The next day, my temperature rose to 37.2. I started looking for information about express tests and came across confirmbiosciences and decided to order and make. The test was positive. A cough appeared. The muscles of the body ached. For three days she rode from 36.0 to 37.2 and back again, and on the fourth day everything became clear — covid. Because in the morning I saw 38.5 on the thermometer. All this was supplemented by terrible diarrhea (another frequent symptom of covid) and a changed sense of smell (the smells did not disappear, but changed).
