Well... I have just had a phone call from my Dr regarding my blood test results. There was no T3 on there which I guessed already, but I am going to get a separate test done from the links you have all provided asap. I'm in shock and really upset... he told me that my TSH level is now 21, I now have diabetes. I am low in folic acid, low in bit D, low iron stores and need an ultra sound as my liver enzymes are elevated. I just broke down... I didn't ask everything I needed to ask because I was devastated to be honest... hes going to call me later on and I will pick up a copy of my results too. Feeling worse than ever. X

"in July 2020....... my T4 says 13.9 pmol/L and TSH is 13 mU/L. "on dose of 150mcg for 3 yrs.
....Dose was not increased in July even though TSH was 13, and fT4 presumably low in range.
December test results have gone 'missing'
......Quite likely (given that TSH is now 21 ), the December TSH result would have been somewhere between 13 and 21, in which case the results should have been acted on by increasing dose, and also maybe investigating why the TSH is so high despite taking a reasonably large dose of Levo.
now TSH is 21, which is worse (more hypothyroid) than in July last year.
You need to ask ;
1) Did they test fT4 this time ? if so what is result [and lab range] this is written after the result in brackets.
2) will they now increase your dose of Levo ?, (they absolutely should)
3) what thoughts do they have about your TSH being so over range and increasing despite being on a reasonable dose already ?, and do they propose to do anything to look into it. ?
4) what happened to your December test results ?, Did they receive them and lose them later, or where they never received ? and given that your previous July TSH test was SO over range why was more attention not paid to the loss of them in December ?
And just for you .... try and remember , be very kind and forgiving of yourself at the moment .... with a TSH of 21, no one would expect you to be able to manage anything properly, so if you feel overwhelmed and tearful and physically dreadful, it's not surprising.....you body and brain function and emotions will be all over the place and struggling with results like these.
Also , i would add, although i'm a bit out of my depth with anything other than thyroid hormones.... try not to get too stressed out at the moment about the other things like diabetes and liver results etc .. there are many things that don't work right when thyroid hormone levels are incorrect , like cholesterol for example is raised by being hypothyroid , but lowers when thyroid levels are improved. So perhaps it's too soon to allow yourself to feel panicked by 'other things going wrong'.
It’s not surprising you are rather overwhelmed by all that in a quick telephone call. Any one would especially with those grim results for your thyroid. Try not to be too worried about the other comments he made.
If you have autoimmune thyroiditis/ Hashimotos then developing other autoimmune conditions is very common.
The chances are that once you get thyroid levels stable and diabetes addressed your liver will improve. However your GO should give you the best advice on this.
Remember everyone on here wants to help and the admins are so helpful and knowledgeable you will have somewhere to turn when you need it.
I too am diabetic and want to reassure you that you may well be able to control it by diet alone. If not you will be given medication as required. Nothing to stop you enjoying life.
Perhaps write down a few questions for the GP and ask for an opportunity to talk again very soon when you have got your head round things. If you are lucky you will see a diabetic nurse at your surgery. They are fabulous and know at least as much as the GPs.
