Thybon Henning

I have a prescription from my Ireland based doctor for Thybon Henning that I was going to get filled in Germany and sent to me (in the Uk). However, I have heard that German pharmacies are no longer dispatching to the Uk due to Brexit. Is this correct? If so, any ideas where I can get this prescription filled and shipped over to me? Thanks

I read that the issue behind Germany not accepting U.K. prescriptions is due to the EU not recognising non EU Drs prescriptions. So, if your Dr is from Southern Ireland then you should be ok and Bennewitz, Germany should accept. There may be different rules surrounding Northern Ireland too as they still have close ties with the EU unlike the rest of the U.K. and you might be in luck

I have sourced my ThyBon Henning 20mcg from Germany through my English private Endocrinologist. However, now I cannot obtain from Germany anymore. I’m mad as hell about Brexit as I voted to remain.

You might have to email the German pharmacy. Think Brexit is going to cause more problems than we were first aware of ☹️

Would you send me privately the details of your Ireland based GP? I have been trying to find a GP there who is willing to prescribe Thybon.

It was always clear that post-Brexit UK prescriptions would not be valid in the EU - though I got a lot of criticism on this forum for pointing that out a couple of years ago.

Many smaller companies have halted sending products to Britain as the paperwork now involved is onerous, confusing and costly.

Bennevitz Pharmacy sent me some Nov last year so delivery not a problem.
