T3 supply

Currently on 20mg thybon & T4 50mg, due to brexit am unable to get any from my original supplier , someone suggested using a company but they only use grain & the other company only supply 25mg, could someone advise how to go about this please?

T3 does not come in grains, only NDT (natural desiccated thyroid) comes in grains.

You could do a straight swap of the 25mcg T3 tablets for your Thybon and see how it goes.

Yes have prescription, I’ve only been on T3 for short time it took me a while to get to that dose, did my zrt saliva test + came back low am + 3x high so treating adrenals at same time,

Some specialist pharmacies in the UK can supply Thybon Henning at £1 per tablet which is cheaper than normal UK prescription T3. I will tag SlowDragon as she knows more about this.

Sadly, that is much more than “slightly” more expensive than in Germany. I’ve been getting my T3 from Germany, and for just under £30, including postage, you get 100 tablet!!!

There will be many of us in big trouble now that we cannot get it from Germany.

Well there’s no postage cost and it’s still significantly cheaper than U.K. T3 at £3.60 a tablet

Hi Christina, Do you mind me asking what your labs look like on this combo? I am on the same and my labs are quite strange. Suppressed TSH, low T4 and midrange T3. Are yours similar?

Often we need to increase levothyroxine up to bring Ft4 and Ft3 to roughly 60-70% through range

I haven’t done any labs for my thyroid since changing to T3, I’m trying to sort my adrenals first , it took me longer than most to reach to 20 mg,I feel overwhelmed trying to juggle more than 1 issue,What dose of thyroxine were you on prior to the switch, I was on 150 mg

I have never been on more than 75mg T4. My T4 results are always very low when I add in 15mg of T3. If I reduce the T3 the T4 goes up. but that doesn't unfortunately equate to feeling better.
