I'm trying to work out a plan for taking various vitamins and supplements. I've read alot of posts from knowledgeable members who have suggested best times to take certain supplements with also the best form of that supplement and which interactions may occur with others. I'm sure there must be a thread on this could someone please provide a link or point me in the right direction. The vitamins I'm looking to take are B complex magnesium, vit D and K.

Quite a few years ago I got some advice that I have found helpful (although I've never understood why it works) :
a) Vitamins should generally be taken earlier in the day.
b) Minerals should generally be taken later in the day.
Isn't it because vitamins are supposed to give you energy and perk you up, whilst minerals make you sleepy? Can't say I've ever found that to be true personally. I'm quite happy to take vit C at midnight and sleep like a long! But, that's just me, I guess.
Yes, that was the reason I was given. But I still don't understand why vitamins are "energising" and minerals are "calming". I've come to the conclusion I don't need to know. It just works for me and apparently quite a few others. 😄
I would agree about vitamin C - I think it is the only exception though (for me at least). It can be taken anytime, and can help people to absorb iron, amongst other things.
There are also suggestions that it could be good for some people to take with Levo. I decided I wasn't that keen on the idea since it lowers TSH dramatically apparently.
SeasideSusie and I had a brief discussion about taking Vitamin C and Levo together just yesterday :
Vits D and K need to be taken with some form of fat. If yours are in an oil-filled capsule, that's fine, take them whenever - four hours away from thyroid hormone, though. But, if they are pills, they need to be taken with a piece of cheese, or something fatty, because they are fat soluble.
