An amazing, beautiful and moving tribute to the end of the year. Three short video clips of using drone swarms, poetry and music in the sky. They have broadcast over the last three nights... You can watch all three here.... Enjoy!
Happy New Year Hibs1! I'm usually with family on the west coast. Stuck in Reading this year, people had fireworks in their garden last night, but no one saw anything as was foggy. It must have been strangly quiet in Edinburgh.
I loved the stag in the mountains too... I grew up on the west coast, where there were a lot of stags. It was slightly eerie for me as I used to have a fear as a child, of seeing a giant 'king' stag appearing above the hills! Amazing how such large scale performance/art can reach out to us as and connect to our inner emotions. I've really missed the arts this year.
Also loved the dove reaching up to the moon in part 3.
So beautiful and cleaver.
Up a mountain would be a fab new year, specially if you can see a sunset/sunrise!
Stags are funny like that ... i was once stood motionless in the woods , overlooking the river gorge and spying down on some noisy folk walking up into 'our' valley .... and then i had this odd feeling of being watched myself , and i turned round to find a massive Stag about 20 feet away motionless and spying on me..... we looked each other in the eye for a bit , and he came back to life and jumped away into the woods, leaving me feeling slightly silly, but rather blessed.
Thanks for posting. Truly beautiful and touching, being Scottish myself.
Hopefully the Virus problem can be resolved at last and we all return to a normal healthy life once more with our thyroid problem being resolved and we lead a more healthy and normal life.
Happy New Year to everyone on this forum and Good Health being at the top of the list of wishes.
