Hi I was hoping someone could send me PM and help me please! I have a private prescription for Armour 120mg but it is so expensive in the UK, I was going to order it from Canada as I they are cheaper. I am getting confused with which pharmacy to order it from, and whether I have to pay taxes when the meds arrive to the UK.
Can anyone let me know their experiences and which Canadian Pharmacy would they recommend??? thanks a million!

AlegriaPeruana, If you purchase medication from anywhere beyond Europe, when the package arrives in the UK you will be charged VAT on the full price including postage (currently 20%), plus a carrier collection charge.
I have bought from TruValue Pharmacy in Canada. It ends up being about the same price because they don’t have 120 and you are forced to buy 2x 60. It is much cheaper in the USA but it can’t be sent abroad without a special import license. It is crazy how much this costs here with no help from the NHS. I am paying £250 a month.
Before the pandemic, I would fo my tests here, fly to the US and see my doctor there( $300) . I would get a prescription and a years supply of meds with a coupon ($300 US total) . It still costs me less than half of what it costs me here with the plane ticket and all!
