thyroid and antibodies tests

I've ordered a test from Medichecks for T3, T4, TSH, and antibodies tests. Its come today. I had my last lost of vitamins on Thursday evening. Im only taking thyroxine no T3.

On their website it says stop taking biotin 2 days before taking test. Can anyone tell me if I can take the test tomorrow morning? I'm being impatient I know!

Many thanks

No. You'd never do the test on a Sunday. Blood needs to be posted on the day it is collected to arrive, ideally, the next day, and there is no postal collection on a Sunday.

Theoretically, based on what Medichecks say about Biotin, you could do it on Monday; however, we tend to advise leaving off B Complex or Biotin supplements for 7 days.

We advise testing and posting Monday-Wednesday in order for blood to arrive in good time not to be hanging around the over the weekend.

The Medichecks return envelope is "Tracked 24" but that doesn't guarantee arriving within 24 hours, it often takes 2 days. You could chance it with their return envelope or you could take it to the post office counter and purchase the "Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm" service which will be extra cost but they should take off the cost of the Tracked 24 service.
