iron/ferritin levels

hi its me again, I need to ask doctor for more blood tests.

I'm told I need a full iron panel and thyroid antibodies test.

I've looked at my current results and wondering if the following are of any help.

Full Blood Count "normal" !?

Haemoglobin 29.5mg (range 27 to 32)

Hematocrit 0.431 (range 0.35 to 0.47)

Total white cell count 6.2 /L (range 4 to 10)

Nucleated red blood count 0 /L(range 0.1010 to 9)

Red blood count 4.58/L (range 3.8 to 4.8)

Mean corpuscle volume 94.1 /fl(range 83 to 101)

I also suspect I have adrenal issues!

Any advice gratefully received.

Haemoglobin 29.5mg (range 27 to 32)

I think you've misread your results. That looks like a result for Mean Cell Haemoglobin, not Haemoglobin itself.

A result for haemoglobin would usually be measured in g/L with a reference range of approx 120 - 150.

Just checked, yes you're right. It says estimated haemoglobin 135, range 115 to 165.Thanks for pointing that out
