Hi , hopefully someone on this reassuring site can advice.
I have developed Oral Thrush and I wondered if there is a link to be under- medicated for hypothyroidism. As some administrators may already know through recent posts I have not quite got my dosage of Levothyroxine correct. I have to see my doctor regds going upto 100 mcg in hope that my T3 will convert better .I also have to discuss my brand of 25mcg of Teva Levothyroxine which along with my Accord Levo amounts to 75mcg.My last increase of Teva brand Levo 25mcg in March-April didn’t suit me and I have only just found out that the brand Teva doesn’t suit all. Maybe this is why I have not felt 100%. If I am not converting T3 too well could it be an absorption problem as well as I have to have a B12 inj due to absorption problems . Would it be better all round to ask the doctor if I can have liquid Levothyroxine ... I know it is expensive but I can ask...... I hope all this makes sense. Hopefully going to the doctors with the right questions would benefit me. Personally all the info I’ve received in the past from friends on this site have helped me so much.I will attach recent blood results. Thanks
