Where are we supposed to be regarding vitamin D levels. Mine have just come back as 81 on a scale of 25-99000. Is this good or are we better off higher up the scale? Thanks 🙂

Are you in the UK? That upper limit is ridiculous, have they not heard of Vit D toxicity?

If the unit of measurement for your test is nmol/L then the Vit D Council recommends a level of 125nmol and the Vit D Society recommends 100-150nmol.

If the unit of measurement is ng/ml then the recommendations are 50ng/ml and 40-60ng/ml respectively.

Yes I’m in the uk. That’s the range that the doctor told me 🤔

So your level isn't bad but you might want to lift it a bit to be within the 100-150nmol range.

Just to add that your current level is not too bad for covid protection according to studies although even better if you get into the range suggested by Seaside Susie.
