The dose of magnesium is on the pack, it's generally between 350-450mg.

Where to get it depends on what form is best suited to you and where it is available. You can see the different forms and what they are beneficial for here:

Amazon seems to have a decent selection but I always Google to compare prices.

I use 250mg capsules.I tried 500mgs but they gave me & my partner loose bowels.I buy mine from an Ebay shop called "Phoenix Nutrition"I get most of my supplements from them.

I tried topical magnesium in "oil"form first. It made us both itchy & we don't like the sensation of this substance on our skin.

I take it in the form of Mag.Bisglycinate.

I take Magnesium Citrate as I struggle with constipation I take these: amazon.co.uk/dp/B07M6R2T5F/...

I find them effective and double or triple up if I have cramps, insomnia etc.

I'm not suggesting this brand (haven't tried them, so can't comment), but if you scroll down this page, they list out the different types of magnesium and what each one achieves:

bioptimizers.co.uk/product/...

I was under the impression magnesium citrate was best (most absorbable form) but from this, it seems that a multiple strain product might be better.

I currently take magnesium citrate in the am and magnesium l-threonate before bed.

I use Better You flakes in bath or footbath and their sensitive skin oil spray. Best to start low and increase depending on bowel reaction. The oil spray can make you itch a little, often seems to do that when I am a bit low and haven't used it for a bit. Too often (every night) can make feet a bit dry, if using as a footbath, so I do vary where I put it. (A few sprays on forearms in the evenings, or a little (not sprayed directly) on temples for a headache). Keeps me regular and helps me sleep.

Not what you're looking for?
