Vitamin D, a quick reminder please

Hello to all,

Do I have to stop taking Vitamin D (& K2) a week before testing? I know about stopping iron -- and also Vit B before thyroid test.

No, just take it after the test on the day.

I know about stopping iron

Only if iron test is included, then it should be a 12 hour fast. If iron test not included, take your iron supplement after the test on the day.

and also Vit B before thyroid test.

Only Biotin, either as a standalone supplement or in a B Complex, needs to be stopped for 7 days before the test as Biotin can give false results when Biotin is used in the testing procedure.
