Hi everyone, I'm still struggling to get any Thyroid S, and understand there is a shortage around the world due to millions of pigs having to be slaughtered as they have swine flu, that's my first worry. The 2nd is about the question above, I am looking at getting some T3 as I have so many symptoms; more the weight gain and the extreme fatigue. Can you take NDT with T3, I have searched the internet and cannot seem to find an answer
If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I currently take 2 1/2 grains split.. 1 1/2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. But feel just as bad as when I was first diagnosed. Please help; my life has come to a standstill again xx
Thank you in advance.

I think the OP wants to add T3 to her NDT, not replace her NDT with T3. Why would she reduce the NDT before adding in the T3? It's not like adding T3 to levo. It's doubtful her FT4 would be too high.
