Do I need to take T4

Hi all I have suffered greatly on Levo in ever increasing doses up to 200mcg. NDT worked until all NDT brands became problematic. I am not taking T3 with Levo bit If I am not converting well can I drop the T4 and just take T3?

I don't convert well, as in I do convert a bit but I am a poor converter.

Trial and error has taught me that I still need to take T4 and I need my FT4 balanced with FT3 around 60-70% through range.

Not everyone is the same, some people are fine with a low FT4 so don't take much Levo with their T3.

Some people don't need Levo at all when taking T3.

It's something that's very individual and only you can know by experimenting.

If you did well on NDT then as that contains T4 : T3 in a ratio of 4 : 1 then maybe you do need Levo plus T3 and you just need to find the right balance.
