Best NDT in your opinion? Armour, Thyroid-S, Thiryod etc.

Just wanting to discuss which NDT you all think is best, and why.

Everyone will say something different, I’m afraid. It’s a case of try it and see. There isn’t a “best“ one, only the one that’s right for you. Right now, many brands are tricky (and very expensive) to get hold of due to shortages of raw material and the COVID crisis, so many of the cheaper types just aren’t available.

You’ll also discover that many people will say that just about every brand of NDT has been reformulated recently and now whichever was their favourite now doesn’t work as well as it used to, just to muddy the waters. That’s possibly due to the shortage of raw materials.

I would say Thyroid S but it is the only NDT I have tried and I am comparing it to Levothyroxine. Unfortunately it is hard to get Thyroid S at the moment but I think some members are trying Tru Thyroid which is a new NDT. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Binders and fillers are "some what" different depending upon the brand in the "natural" Thyroid world but as someone has already stated everyone is wired differently so there is not a "better" one. Whichever one takes away the "majority" of your symptoms and makes you feel better..

You'll "probably" never find one that alleviates ALL of your symptoms as most hypo's are fighting chronic fatigue (among many symptoms) due to deficiencies in other areas.
