This was on TV yesterday, BBC1 Breakfast if I remember. It is most unlikely they will be able to do any drilling for quite some time. It creates an aerosol and needs a very high level of protection. I believe temporary fillings can be done either at your dentist or an emergency dental clinic.
I was also listening to a dentist on Vanessa Feltz’s show the other day and she was saying that the only procedure that does not produce an aerosol effect is extraction, and that a lot of people are losing teeth that could, under normal circumstances, have been so easy to fix. Not a good time to get toothache, methinks... 🤔
For the time being we must all take extra care looking after our teeth.
A year or so ago, probably more the way time flies these days, I had to have one taken out on the right at the bottom jaw which left a big gap. Now I can only really eat on the left side and if I were to lose one of those...well I can’t bear thinking about it.
I only have teeth to chew one side. The dentist wanted to take out a tooth, and I pointed out I would not be able to chew. He said "a modern diet does not need chewing". I replied that I dont eat processed food and left.
