I have hypothyroidism would like to do bloods but via GP that’s not a good option atm.
My functional medicine dr has started me on metavive 2 and dropped my Levo to compensate. He knows me very well this will be checks with bloods after a few months which I may have to do privately I’ll see how I get on.
I am also pre diabetic so checking blood sugars at least once a day.
This may seem minor but I’m interested. Very dry skin on my heels has almost vanished since taking metavive - I haven’t put any moisturiser on.
My blood sugars also seem to be better than normal.
Could metavive improve dry skin and/or lower blood sugar?
I’m imagining so due to mitochondrial possible support with metavive.
I am also supplementing vit D.
Any ideas?
When I took Metformin a while ago I had similar dry skin improvement......

I had to go to my GP surgery as a matter of urgency re; an infected spider bite and the surgeries are completely empty. Go get your blood tests, just take all the precautions and don't touch the door handles and/or wear gloves etc;
I have pre-diabetes too and I have to fight tooth and nail to get it checked every six months same with TSH tests.
I know my psoriasis cleared up when I reached my normal TSH levels but NDT will always have the edge over synthetic medications.
