Two years ago I went for a scan as I have no thyroid gland. During the second op the doctor left roots of thyroid gland. I was told it's mormol but not for me. That root is now growing. My thyroid tablets was making me feel sick. So the spoke to 3 thyroid doctors at the hospital who told me there is a lactose free tablets available. I reported to my health centre. Only 2 weeks ago when I got a letter that one of the doctors will call me to discuss why my thyroid blood tests was not good. My husband answers the call and told the doctor about lactose free medication. Next day doctor rings with good news TEVA tablets no lactose. So my husband sent email to independent pharmacy to let them know. This morning my medication arrived via royal mail. Same medication thyroid tablets x2 2x asthmatic inhalers and some others. So just sent another email. Fingers crossed. Whole of April I had that dreading virus. Still recovering don't know if it's coming back body racked with pain. Headache. Dropping of to sleep where ever I sit. If anyone is on TEVA let me know please. Life is one roller coaster. Hope everyone is well.

Besides Teva being lactose free, there is also a newcomer - Aristo. There is an excellent online patient information for Aristo here:

Hi there

I think it's fair to say that the levo community can be divided into three:

a) people who really really don't get on with Teva - and there are quite a lot of them

b) people who have a real preference for Teva - often lactose-intolerant

c) people who can tolerate Teva - like me, who may or may not actively seek it out.

So if you have found that Teva suits you, that's great; try and stick with it :)
