[ Edited by admin to remove link which was only appropriate for sponsors of the petitions. The petition needs to be approved and published before anyone else can sign it.

Please post again if it is approved. However, it is much preferred for there to be some contact with TUK, especially on an issue that they and other organisations are already working on.

This link does not take us to an actual petition. It goes to:

What is this about? Have you got the wrong link? It is very important we see the actual text of a petition before supporting it and entering personal details.

I’m a little concerned... There’s none of the usual information about the purpose of the petition or how many people had signed it so far. I signed, but then got the confirmation with a message to say it needed 5 supporters to enable it to go ‘live’ so it could be shared... Perhaps you should elaborate here a little?

That is, it requires a minimum number of signatures to get started, and at that point it is checked before being published and made available to others.

The link that was published is inappropriate for the reasons already stated - no-one should be asked for their details before seeing what it is about.
