1,000 Count Bottles of Thyroid-S

I will be taking Thyroid-S for the first time. It is a factory sealed 1,000 count bottle.

This should last me about 8 months.

HOWEVER, if I just take pills twice a day out of the 1,000 count bottle then I will be opening the bottle up twice a day for 8 months and am concerned that after a few months I could get decreased potency.

Do some people just open the 1,000 count bottle ONCE a month and move a 30 day supply to a smaller bottle? IF SO, how do you SAFELY move to the smaller bottle? Do you use a funnel OR how do you safely move to the smaller 30 day bottles?

I decant about a month's amount to a small brown bottle, just holding the large one over the small one, and pouring them in slowly over a plate. If some escape they usually fall into my hand or into the plate. I haven't lost any so far

May I ask, is this a 1000 tablet bottle you bought recently? If so, please would you PM me where you bought them from? They seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment.

They no longer manufacture 1000 ct bottles so it´s likely out of stock everywhere...the biggest bottle now available is a 500 ct bottle. Unfortunately, it costs as much as a 1000 ct bottle used to cost...

I think I managed to get one of the last 1000 tablet bottles, so have enough for a year, but can't face having to try out all the US brands again, they used to be wonderful but have all changed.

I have never noticed any decreased potency from opening the bottle daily for several months. I always keep the bottle in a drawer away from sunlight. I also think the glass bottle protects the pills better than a plastic bottle.

The 1000 ct bottles are no longer being manufactured so the biggest bottle of Thyroid-S now available contains 500 pills.
