Thyroid/fevers

Hi, does anyone know if thyroid issues can cause fevers? My son had a fever after ever dose increase of growth hormone and ive realised that in the week after some of those fevers, his tsh and freet4 were tested and these were the only times his free t4 was above borderline and near the middle of the range.
