Receptor antibody level 0.6 normal . Still not sure

Is that TSH Receptor Antibodies? TRAB? If it's normal then you don't have Grave's. So, according to your last post, you are on the wrong medication.

Why did you stop for two weeks and then go back on it? I'm not following that bit.

in reply to greygoose

Hi because I had the rare reaction to the carbimazole with the bloods so had to stop , then put me on other two weeks later as t4 had crept up and I was showing hyper signs , so I don’t no I’m really confused , 🤦‍♀️

in reply to

Yea that was the receptor antibody level it was done in hospital

in reply to

Thy peroxide’s ab was normal too 🤷‍♀️

Have you had an ultrasound on your thyroid?

in reply to greygoose

No nothing as no swelling or nothing he only said over the phone prob graves as didn’t mention that at my appointment it was only cause I phoned up about my t3 results being normal , going to ring again on Monday

Yes, you really should get to the bottom of this.

in reply to greygoose

I shall but it’s getting me down as all I seem to b doing is ringing them up and getting no where as all my test come back normal apart from my t4 just a little high, and he also said he didn’t think I would b on tablets for that long then next min his saying prob graves so I don’t get it

I don't think there's anything to get. I think he just has no idea what he's doing. If your TRAB is normal, then you do not have Grave's. I think you should maybe point that out to him.

in reply to greygoose

Yea I have and apparently their is a letter in post for me , on my notes to the doctor it didn’t mention graves either

Let us know what the letter says when you get it, because this is a rediculous situation. I can't understand it.

in reply to greygoose

Yea will do , I’m really not coping as keep looking for signs like eyes and stuff it’s getting me down

I think such incompetence would get anybody down. Hope the letter arrives soon. :)

in reply to greygoose

Did you get the letter ? - what did it say ?

in reply to Marz

Yea sorry , yes did get letter just said that those test negative and that I don’t have Graves but I do have a over active thyroid so to stay on the dose I was given , but I’ve just had bloods and t3 t4 ‘tsh are all normal which is good , so now got to see about meds now as not sure what I’m doing as I no I prob need them so it don’t rise again but then I don’t want them to drop any lower or it will go past my normal 🙈 so just waiting on a call from doctors to see if I need to reduce my dose

Perhaps you have Hashimotos when your results can fluctuate suggesting both Hyper and Hypo ..

in reply to Marz

Did they not measure your T3 the second time?

in reply to mistydog

No cause they tested on 20 jan, then went again on the 4 of feb so I surpose it was only two weeks apart , they were only really checking the white and red bloods cause of the last reaction with carbimazole , but my doctor gave me a form for t4, and TSH too

I might have been known to add T3 on the bloods form.

in reply to mistydog

I did think of that but they were only done 2 weeks ago and got bloods again in 3
