So.... re the antibodies... did they do all of
TSI/TRAbs for Graves
TPO/TG for Hashi's
What were the results of those?
Yea both came back negative
All 4 ?
Just what ever they did , said was negative
You need to find out how what they tested, Ponk. Get them to give you a printout and post the results here. Your doctors aren’t necessarily thinking of testing everything that needs to be tested—we see it here again and again and again. And it’s you who has to pay the price.
You are entitled to your results. They’re yours, not theirs.
It was the hospital that done them when I had to stay in for a few days
But a copy of them should have been shared with your GP—so do ask.
Remember—your doctor sees hundreds of patients. You’re a mildly interesting case when you’re sitting in front of them—but within minutes of you leaving they’ve forgotten you and moved on to the next patient. So we have to advocate for ourselves, be a bit more proactive that we traditionally have to be to make sure we get optimal treatment. It’s not that they don’t care—but ultimately you care about you far more than they do.
You need to see the results with your own eyes ...
Sorry yea I have seen them as got online thing and see it myself sorry if I didn’t make myself clear . 🙈
So can you post them here ?
I have already done that
I think Marz is talking about your antibodies tests—as am I?
If you have those, could you post them?
Have you seen this guide to antibodies and what they all mean? thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...
From previous posts it looks like you said your TPO was normal and your TRAB was normal.
But what about TSI? Was that tested?
Oh. They’ve gone.
Hate it when that happens.
I'm sure we all do!
