Hi A friend of mine who also has Underactive Thyroid has started to feel pressure on top of her head. She has had scan and they say there is nothing showing up to cause this. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you

I don't have pressure but I can not tolerate being touched on top of my head. My husband is very tall and when cuddling me would rest his chin on the top of my head. After tt it actually hurts, he forgets and it makes me really angry, he did it in queue at supermarket and I flipped out, totally ott response but it is so uncomfortable, I want to say unbearable, it feels way to heavy, hard to explain. I still wear hats so it's something to do with the weight and pressure on my head nothing actually physically wrong....lol reading this I sound a bit mad.
Omg, I have had a weird sensation every so often like concrete setting in my head and going down my forehead. One it lead to a full on blackout.
I’ve had full brain Mri nothing wrong. But also had TSH tested three times in two years and T 3 and T 4 once and told very sharply by my GP there is nothing wrong with my thyroid results. Despite then being whilst taking suppliments with biotin and after food....
I was finally sent to a sleep clinic and given a Cpap machine for mild sleep apnea, but I’m going off at a tangent here.
The pressure in the head thing is weird and I was told by a cardiologist that if accompanied by sweating to feelings of faintness to move my arms to get circulation pumping or put my head between my knees. It’s scary though
This is actually a question about a friend of mine. She has been told they can find nothing wrong. She says it makes her worried. I will ask her if it is sore to the touch.
Me too. And it affects the vagus nerve, so I also get blocked sinuses and sometimes feel dizzy and get odd white lights on the periphery of my vision if it's really bad.
The only thing that gets rid of it is paracetamol with caffein at 1000mg. Even then not completely if it's really bad.
I do if it's really bad. It varies in how bad it is. Sometimes it's just a vague pain in the back of my neck/head. Other times I have to lie down and take multiple painkillers and can feel the nerve pain between my shoulders and half way down my back and my sinuses get blocked and my head throbs like a migraine.
