Can anyone recommend a good probiotic which is gluten and soya free?

We take Swanson ones. There are several. It’s good to change so your body gets different probiotics . We also make sauerkraut and I’ve made kefir once.

My favourite type of swansons is ultimate 16 strain probiotics with FOS.

If you have stomach issues a comprehensive stool analysis is great.

It tells you the level of probiotics 0-4 ( you want a 4)

Stomach acid as above

Overgrowth of bacteria ( low this time is ideal)

Parasites and Candida.

Mine also told me I was not absorbing my food, what I was immune to- certain antibiotics and which were best for me if I had an infection. Also I was immune to two essential oils I’d been taking for about 6 m.

My probiotics levels were nil as was the stomach acid. I had Candida and a bacterial overgrowth of nasties.

After 6 m just a touch of Candida left. The rest are fine.

Hi there, this is an old post so not sure if you will see my question. Can I ask how you went about getting your stool analysis? Was this through your GP or private? I have stomach issues and feel some further testing is needed.

Hi

No a GP would not do one. Mine was done through my specialist via Genova but you can buy your own. Last I looked there were a few on line.

I am trying to remember a patient doing her own, possibly Regenerus.

Genova ws the best I have seen though, but you need a Doctor to sign it off.
