Your doctor decreased by too much. T3 should only be decreased by 5 mcg every two weeks. And levo should not be decreased at the same time as T3. It's one or the other.
I expect your blood pressure is high because your FT3 is too low. It's a hypo symptom.
Oh dear. It doesn't necessarily follow. It really gets me that they can't be bothered to do the tests and just guess. But, if you do have Hashi's, that could be the reason your levels suddenly went too high. In which case, the remedy would be to come off levo/T3 for a few days, until you feel hypo again, and then go back no the same dose. Not drastically slash the dose like she did. She's not very knowledgeable, is she.
How do you feel is the main question? For some people borderline FT3 is their normal (like me) so you don’t need to increase anything if you are ok. Everyone is different.
I think our body is the best indicator, and if you feel normal then I don’t see why would you change anything. I see here that people always advise to push FT3 to the middle and over and FT4 to the upper range, which makes no sense to me at all as we have those wide ranges because most people( who were tested up to now) are within those ranges and obviously cannot be the same for everyone. Good luck!!!
