Here are my latest blood tests

T3-2.3 range2.2-4

T4 -1.3. Range .07-1.5

Tsh 0.05 range .035-4.94

I was over medicated my t3 was over 5 and t4 was over range

So she changed my medicine to 10mg-instead of 20 of lithothyronnine and kept my tirosint at 150 except for 1 day a week at 75

I have an appointment next week so I don’t know what I should do to get my t3 back up also my blood pressure is 169/85

Thank you for your help

Your doctor decreased by too much. T3 should only be decreased by 5 mcg every two weeks. And levo should not be decreased at the same time as T3. It's one or the other.

I expect your blood pressure is high because your FT3 is too low. It's a hypo symptom.

Do you have Hashi's?

She’s never tested me but she said yes because I have Addison’s disease also

Oh dear. It doesn't necessarily follow. It really gets me that they can't be bothered to do the tests and just guess. But, if you do have Hashi's, that could be the reason your levels suddenly went too high. In which case, the remedy would be to come off levo/T3 for a few days, until you feel hypo again, and then go back no the same dose. Not drastically slash the dose like she did. She's not very knowledgeable, is she.

No she isn’t that’s why I thought I would ask on here before I go to my appointment

Well, that's my opinion. She's really messed you up.

Should I add another T 3

Your ft4 is near top of its range so the only way in my opinion to get Ft3 higher is to add 5mcg t3.

I agree I think I will try that and hopefully I can find my sweet spot

How do you feel is the main question? For some people borderline FT3 is their normal (like me) so you don’t need to increase anything if you are ok. Everyone is different.

I feel better than I did when I was over medicated

I think our body is the best indicator, and if you feel normal then I don’t see why would you change anything. I see here that people always advise to push FT3 to the middle and over and FT4 to the upper range, which makes no sense to me at all as we have those wide ranges because most people( who were tested up to now) are within those ranges and obviously cannot be the same for everyone. Good luck!!!
