Your Body's many cries for water

I've posted in the past a link re this doctor but thought it might be of interest to those of us who also have additional health issues. He states:-

"Dehydration is the underlying cause of many chronic “diseases.” Proper intake of water, salt and minerals can prevent these illnesses and even reverse the damage already done. So-called “modern” medicine still blames viruses or genetics for most of these degenerative conditions, and the pharmaceutical industry would lose billions in profits if people relied on the natural healing properties of water rather than expensive and toxic drugs. Why the body needs water, the reasons why lack of water causes the body to become stressed and diseased, as well as very simple methods to ensure your own vibrant health, are all explained in detail. that dehydration can be the cause of a number of health problems which can be helped by drinking water (sometimes with the addition of a little salt).

The doctor published his book in 2013.

p.s. for those of us who've hypo conditions I'm not suggesting that water will replace our thyroid hormones but it might help in other ways. If I've had palpitations, ice-cold water reduces and resolves them.

Thanks, Shaws. This is fascinating reading and is probably all true. I have just drunk my first glass of water and salt as a pre-lunch digestive aid.

I'll read this closely later, thank you shaws

A quick read raises this-

Coincidentally I've found myself becoming very thirsty ( diabetes test negative) and needing to drink more water (luckily we have lovely tap water!) and feeling the need to add more salt to my food...it was as if my body was asking for more!

"Listen to your body" comes to mind

This has become more evident as I've increased my T3 dose (currently 156.25mcg)....wonder if this signals a need to help flush out the the non-absorbed T3 left sloshing about in the blood. Maybe just a mad idea....but the whole treatment of RTH is "mad"

Thank you Shaw’s I always appreciate your post it’s a good reminder to keep hydrated. I went for blood work and since I didn’t have enough water in me my veins were narrow they could not find my veins even the ones on my hand. They gave me water and warm compresses to pop them up! So yes hydration is so so important! Thank you for the article!🙂
