on reply and an error popped up which means something is wrong with the server so the site owner might want to check it out

Ah right. It happens from time to time, possibly a blip with HU but it's usually only temporary and by the time it's reported it's back to normal.

Ok I never had that error on this site before.

I took thyroid S for about 6 months when I was hypo and was on 1 1/2 grains when I stopped it. It suited me well but I had a flare up of my Graves' so I had to stop it cold turkey

I have been on it for nearly a year now, and it suits me better than most of the others. I was really good on NP Throid but then they changed it and I was really ill with a TSH through the roof. I was delighted to find the Thyroid-S and was even more delighted at the price and not having to pay import tax! Now the price is rising sharply, and who is to say it will be available in the future. The thought of going back to Levo fills me with dread.

Yes i know the feeling ever since np thyroid stopped working i been feeling dread becahse i been through all ndts except thyroid-s so im hoping itll work..never been on t4 only and dont intend on doing so unless i have t3 to it

I started it taking it almost 2 months ago when another NP thyroid stopped working for me. At first, I felt spaced out and detached but my toleration increased after I titrated slowly. Most of my hypo symptoms are relieved.

It works for me and I recommend it.

Im also a np user until it smlled like cat piss and made me feel super bad...so it took time for you to feel better after a straight swap over?how many grains are you on?im on 2.5 with the good np thyroid but im not sure if im optimal i havent had test done for a long time becuase i was feeling good but going next week to try and get my doc to do it so i dont have to pay for it on my own i been switching over thyroid meds for past few months because of the bad np so my thyroid levels are prob all over the place..i got 2 bottles of thyroid-s im starting tomorrow..like my other post i feel real hypo right now cuz im near my period.

I tried doing a straight swap but it was too much for me to handle because I had been hypo for more than a month. I quit taking NP thyroid because I was getting chest pains and it burnt my throat. So I was kind of without proper medication for a while.

I take 2.5 grains of NDT too but it was too much for me to handle at first so I took 1.75 grains of Thyroid-S and started raising a quarter grain each week. I used a pill cutter.

O ok we both on same dosage then..i been swapping from erfa t3 and np thyroid..im all messed up prob.lol so its time to stsrt thyroid-s and get level to take blood work..i have no idea where im at now so i may start off with 2 grains and see how i feel and wait for 4 to 6 weeks for a blood test i think thats how long i wait?its been so long since i changed my dose

Yes we’re in the same boat. I was taking Naturethroid prior to NP thyroid. It did take about 6 weeks for me to start feeling well again. If you feel strange on 2 grains, try reducing by a quarter and hang for a week before increasing. I personally think Thyroid -S is quite potent. Others have reported sensitivity to it so you have to watch out for other symptoms too.
