So according to the sonographer, the lump in the upper right part of my neck is a thyroglossal duct cyst. My actual thyroid had a couple of very small nodules, otherwise looks fine.
He will report to GP, he suggested they might want to refer to ENT.
My medichecks results showed thyroid function within range, but all my vitamins were pretty low. So, I'm going to focus on treating that in the meantime and re test everything in a month or so.
Anyone else had a TDC?

Can you post your recent results on here? "Within range" is often not good enough, your levels all need to be optimal for you to feel well.
I looked up " thyroglossal duct cyst", apparently it is the channel through which the thyroid gland moves to its proper position before birth. Sometimes it doesn't disappear when no longer needed and can swell or get infected. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about unless it begins to cause problems.
No, but I did have a badly infected brachial cleft cyst on the upper right side of my neck. It got so big that I had problems turning my head to the right. Found this when I looked up your cyst and my own. amboss.com/us/knowledge/Con...
The writers seem to think these appear in childhood, but I was 30 when mine erupted.
