I have oral thrush and fear it has spread to my ear and other parts of my body. I have Graves’ disease (auto immune thyroid disease) and have been on strong antibiotics multiple times these last 9 months and prednisone for for a severe tooth infection due to neck arm and leg pain. I do have a herniated disc and pinched nerve in my neck (according to my neurologist) However, my sinuses are affecting one side and I have ear pressure. My tongue has been white for sometime now but I thought the coloring was off because of tumeric in my tea or matcha tea I drink. Been thirsty for 2 months. About 2 weeks ago I discovered I have oral thrush. I feel I have head it for months due to the large amount of antibiotics prescribed over the last 9 months since diagnosed with Graves.

My acupuncturist just yesterday told me of a herbal supplement called Biotics Research A.D.P. Digestive Formula which is oregano oil pills.

I read great reviews and starting them today. My acupuncturist is an MD and has had many patients cure Thrush as well as sinuses problems (which I am having now which I believe is due to the fungus overgrowth).

It can be taken daily for overall health too. I am on a prescription Clitrinazole 10mg 3 times a day. It has improved my tongue. But believe mine has spread and needs more. I am also on Methimazole 2.5 mg 4 times week for Graves. It’s been a roller coaster of health problems.

Praying it will work and thought I would send along as recommended by Floridafan to get to the top of the thread.

If anyone has tried this and had some luck or no luck please reply!

Thank you!

I use oil of oregano softgels which I buy direct from Zane Hellas in Greece who produce them.

The Biotics Research one says "Digestive Formula" and I can't find a list of ingredients for them.

Thank you for your reply

Here’s a link to what’s in it

I also found this information which may be the reason for a bunch of my issues

I am taking prebiotics and probiotics too.

I am starting to think I have had this issue for a long time and praying this all natural supplement helps!

Have you seen the Zane Hellas website? They have a range of products, and do one specifically for candida

I have lung disease and colonised pseudomonas which can flare up from time to time and that's something to avoid. I can usually identify the beginning of a lung infection and as soon as I have a suspicion of that, or even the first inkling of a cold, I start taking the oil of oregano softgels. I believe it has probably prevented infection progressing a few times.
