my name is Sven and I am 41 years old and have been sleeping very badly for almost 10 years now. Diagnosis: low morning cortisol. My morning temperature is also low. Since I have tried a lot of things before, I have now arrived at the CT3M (Circadian T3 Method) and sleep with it since the first week again GOOD!
My dose is "only" 5mcg before going to bed and partly still 2.5mcg at night and when getting up.
Do you think I can take this dose for a long time WITHOUT a reduction of my own production? In another forum (Ray Peat) I read that you can stay under the "body radar" for the degrading liver enzymes with low dosages throughout the day (<5mcg).
I don't really understand what you're saying, here. Are you saying that you don't have a hypo problem/diagnosis but you are taking T3? If so, the least of your problems is the TSH! Have you at least had your thyroid tested - including the FT3?
I don't have an official hypo diagnosis from a Doc.
My laboratory values for ft3/ft4 are always in the middle. TSH and antibodies are also ok.
However, my condition is not OK, low body temperature, lower pulse and I always wake up at night - because I feel like I'm running out of energy. After having tried a lot to heal the adrenal glands, I now test the CT3M (stopthethyroidmadness.com/t....
And it's WORKING.
But so that I don't want to shut down my own thyroid glands with the T3 substitution over time, I wanted to know if you also have experience with "low dose T3"? According to Ray Peat Community this should be possible...
My experience is that I need a very high dose of T3, so can't help you with that.
But, could you give us your exact numbers and ranges for your thyroid results. We really don't like being told that they're 'ok', because that is meaningless. And, if you ever ask for opinions or advice or experiences on here, the first thing anyone is going to ask is: what are you blood test levels.
Are you on Paul Robinsons Facebook page, he may be the best person to ask on this....he does live posts for questions some days, he is brilliant,,
I cant really advise on your condition,
I have been taking a small part of my T3 at 3 am as thats when the adrenals wakeup. so I set alarm and take some then and I seem to have a much better day for it,,
I saw this on Pauls facebook page and it works for me,,so maybe try taking up to 6.5 T3 at 3 am, it may work it may not but worth a try xx
