So I finally got my results from the blood tests :

My free T4 is 13.1 , TSH 2.5 and my Cortisol is 302. So just waiting for Synacthen test in a couple of weeks. Still feel shattered though and no nearer any answers!

f your cortisol was taken around 9am it's not too low but is on the lower side of normal. To pass the SST your base lone result should double & reach at least 420nmol/Ls., this will show that your adrenal glands are working. Hopefuly they will do an ACTH blood test at the start of the test, this needs to go on ice straightaway, this will show how the pituitary gland is responding.

What's the range on FT4 result?

Are you working on low vitamin levels?

Your very high TG antibodies will be causing symptoms

Are you on strictly gluten free diet?

Hi - the dr won’t prescribe me with anything . Says my high antibodies are just an indicator of possible thyroid issues in the future despite my symptoms . I’m self medicating Vit D but still feel rubbish. Because I’m 50 this year they keep telling me it’s my age when I feel it isn’t . I’ve had 2 private blood tests that I’ve paid for now this one at hospital. No closer to anything at the mo !

Not on gluten free diet no ! They didn’t give the range of anything just stated the result !
