I need to add that I was on 100 mcg of levo with no problems (that I knew of) until November of 2018. I had other health problems, now I'm beginning to wonder if they were thyroid related.
I’ve posted so many times trying to get it legible so this last time I forgot that vitamins are all in upper range except ferritin. It’s 83 (18-204). I’ve felt like rubbish since being ill in January, mostly bed ridden. I’ve used the calculator but none of it makes sense with my results. The higher my T4 the worse I feel. My t3 isn’t high but wasn’t a problem in the past
Makes a kind of sense. High T4 can prevent or at least lower conversion to T3, so you don't get enough of the active hormone and things get our of balance. I'd try increasing t3 and making sure that B12 and folate are optimal. Selenium might help. Were you taking B vitamins at time of last 2 tests?
I’m taking both D and B12, both optimal. Folate is fine, too. I can’t function, spend my time in bed crying. I’ve wondered if I’m getting too much T4. Need husband’s assistance to just get to the bathroom. Don’t understand why I’m so anxious and weak. Thank you
Depends a bit on your age, but I just cried randomly and felt awful when my sex hormones were out of whack. Tried all the alternative remedies for 7 years but just got steadily worse, then got biohrt which works very well for me.
