Sorry to use the "B" word, but has anyone gleaned any helpful info from the German pharmacies? So far I have used Bennewitz once for a private T3 prescription, and I'm working my way slowly through that prescription.
My hope is to convince my NHS GP and Endo that T3 works for me, and hopefully get the Endo to prescribe it. I've introduced the T3 very slowly (in combination with a slightly-reduced dose of my usual T4) but it's early days, and I think I need to gradually increase my daily T3 dose over the coming months before I'll know whether it works for me.
However, I am concerned about ongoing supplies from Germany after Halloween, in order that I can continue my "trial" to a (hopefully positive) conclusion. All that Bennewitz have told me is "We don't know what's going to happen, have to wait and see, maybe there will be some form of deal". Obviously I understand that they don't know any more than we (or our "government") do - but I'm wondering whether anyone else has been given any crumbs of comfort?
I'm going to see my private GP soon, and ask for a large prescription that I can stockpile. I've no idea yet whether she will be amenable to that suggestion - but I would hope to get any prescription to Bennewitz before Halloween (in case we crash out and burn!!).
Has anyone had similar conversations with any of the German pharmacies, and gained any more concrete information?

What I do know is that, currently, a valid prescription issued in one EU country is valid in the other 27 member states as well.
If the UK becomes a third country on 31/10/19 and leaves without a deal regulating that particular aspect, it is likely that people in the UK will no longer be able to have their prescriptions filled by pharmacies in the EU (and vice versa, I'd assume).
Thanks thecat. That's pretty much as I thought, but just wondered if anything had developed in the last couple of weeks (unlikely!!). Given our government's record on thyroid matters, I doubt they'll be bothered (or have the time) to write anything prescription-related into any deal that's proposed.
Maybe the German pharmaceutical industry will try for amendments from their end (although that probably depends on how profitable the UK prescription business is to them).
Yes, it's a shame Hillary Clinton wasn't elected president of the US...as she is actually on NDT (Armour)! I remember reading about it back when she was a presidential candidate and required to provide all relevant medical background information.
We've often said it in the UK, haven't we? If only our politicians and doctors suffered from thyroid problems we'd see an entirely different approach to our health.
Thanks SlowDragon. I'd read the string you attached before I posted - but I'd missed magsyh's contribution (brain fog). I can't find where I saved TUK's list of sympathetic endos/doctors (more brain fog ) so I've PM'd magsyh for details.
