I am trying to buy T3 from Germany and live in the UAE. I have a prescription from the US and when I contacted the German pharmacies, one ore two got back saying that they can only send to the EU and that too only if I have a EU prescription. Has anyone outside EU had success ordering it?

German T3- EU only?
I am sorry you've not yet had a response but hopefully a member will be able to respond soon.
That must be very worrying for the people on this forum who get T3 from Germany and who live in the UK. It means their source of supply will dry up after Brexit.
I have been banging on about this for months
EU pharmacies will only accept EU doctor's prescriptions
Even more reason for more people to push to get NHS prescription and recognition by NHS that they should be treated
Anyone currently forced to get their T3 on private prescription via Germany or France should kick up a fuss with their endocrinologist, and also write to Lord O'Shaughnessy, Lord Hunt and their own MP
Who is Lord Hunt?
Lord Hunt of Kings Heath
He's been campaigning with Thyroid UK on getting T3 price reduced and available to all that need it on the NHS

Thanks, that makes sense.
Whenever I see the name Hunt I think of Jeremy Hunt. *shudder*
Im not so sure the new Health Secretary is any good hes suggesting all gps do more social precribing ,, this gives them a ticket to precribe hypos with weight watchers some gym swimming lessons or maybe a game of Bingo,, what a fool he will be using up more valuable Drs time! if he wants Social Prescribing done he should set this up else where not for GP to do and to fund it accordingly not use up precious Drs surgeries budgets.. well I can see where this is all leading to ! Less medications for all and less appointmets for real medical conditions ..
So now people can go and get refused vital vitamins as they are over the counter and patients can buy themselves but hey ho you can now get a free game of bingo, gym at GPs .. ? its open to huge abuse
Oh, I agree. Not only are treatments being pared to the bone and beyond, but we're all being declared to be mentally ill as well. And anyone diagnosed with depression and anxiety will be told it is their fault and they need to do more exercise and get CBT.
It won't be the fault of the doctor who is refusing to diagnose all sorts of health conditions because they consider them too expensive to treat, leaving people in lots of pain, and with reduced quality or no quality of life.
I'm certainly no expert on such things, but can't see any way you could possibly get medicine sent to UAE from Germany with a US prescription. The world is getting smaller in many ways, but when it comes to medicine there are still very strict borders. Surely it makes more sense to get prescription filled in the US.
I've been told by two online German pharmacies that they won't accept my UK prescription after Brexit. But a friend who's a pharmacist in Germany says this is premature, as nothing has been decided yet.
What worries me is that Bennewitz’s terms and conditions, for example, already state that they will only accept prescriptions from inside the EU. It seems that there is no need for anyone to actually make a decision post Brexit (although I dearly wish there was as we might get some reprieve) as once we are outside the EU, our prescriptions become automatically void in their eyes. Or am I missing something?
I absolutely agree. Theoretically there is a possibility the full brexit agreement could contain a clause which allows UK prescriptions to be treated in the same way as internal EU cross-border prescriptions. Even if it does, I think it would require Bennewitz to change their terms and conditions and that would be their choice. Given things like handling the VAT with a non-EU country, changes to shipping, etc., they could very well decide to walk away from so doing.
I don'y think anyone knows. I've written to Lord Hunt and Lord O'Shaughnessy about it, but I suspect T3 is very low down in everyone's list of Brexit priorities.
Also, a friend wrote to Bennewitz to ask if they accept Norwegian prescriptions, to see how flexible their definition of EU is. Bennewitz didn't reply, so I decided to buy from Mycare instead.
Was MyCare one of the two that you mentioned above re not accepting UK prescriptions after Brexit? And was the other Bennewitz?
Does anyone have any ideas of what alternatives could be? Is there not anything we can do collectively? We shouldn't have to be jumping through hoops to buy essential medicine from Germany in the first place!
Can you not get the mexican Cytomol thats supposed to be one of the best
